"Of the past 3 (RVs) we have purchased, this has been the best treatment by a dealer, ...EXCELLENT!"

"We appreciate the First Class attention we got while purchasing our 2005 Travel Supreme. We were in the RV business for 15 Years and our business grew from word of mouth. We treated our customers the way we would like to be treated, if we were making the purchase. That is the feeling we got from your dealership."

We had called you early Monday January 7 explaining we were preparing to leave for Florida but our refrigerator wasn't working. Had intermittent issues with it on previous trips and had stopped at a couple of different RV service centers to no avail. Howard RV worked us in that day. You needed to keep our Motorhome overnight as you began diagnosing an electrical problem. A part was ordered (rush delivery) thinking that the problem had been solved, we returned home in preparation for our trip. However, by the next morning, the refrigerator again wasn’t functioning properly. It appeared the new part may have been needed but it wasn't the culprit as originally thought. You had us return that morning for further examination. You worked well into the early afternoon and discovered another possibility for the problem. We left with instructions, a working refrigerator, and your desire for us to contact you upon our return if any further issues. We have not since encountered any problems. We were very impressed with your professionalism, courtesy, understanding, and the fact that you didn’t charge us for the work the second day which most centers would have done. A very big thank you to Travis, your Service Advisor, Bill and David, the skilled Techs, and Bill (the Service Manager). You made us, not only feel that we were important, but you worked diligently to get our refrigerator issued solved.
Thank you again.

Dear Mr. Howard,
We wanted to let you know about our great experience purchasing our new R-Pod 177 from your dealership. We live in Raleigh, and decided to go to Wilmington for a weekend camping trip at the KOA located just up the road from you. We had been shopping for a new trailer to replace our 1994 Aliner, and made a planned visit to your dealership with the intent of checking out the R-Pod travel trailers. When we arrived, we were greeted by Bill Mirrielees, who immediately impressed us with his professionalism, friendliness ,and non-pushy approach. He listened to our wants, quickly determined our needs, showed us a few trailers that would be in our size and weight range, and made some very helpful suggestions. He then took us to see the R-Pod 177. My wife and I instantly agreed that it was the trailer we had been looking for. Unfortunately, that one was already sold, but Bill promised he could get a brand new one to the dealership within two weeks. We worked out the numbers and placed the order.
During the following week, Bill kept in constant contact, answering all our questions and keeping us informed with our order status. We were disappointed to learn that he would not be able to be there for us when we picked up our trailer on Saturday (he had to work at the Raleigh RV Show), but he promised to have everything all ready.
Although Bill wasn't there, our experience continued to be great. David Ward did our walk through, and he did a very thorough and professional job. He and Donnie did our hitch and brake controller set up, and Donnie took some extra time making sure I could safely and confidently tow our new trailer. Our entire time there, including doing some extra shopping in your well stocked parts store, was about three and a half hours. We felt comfortable, relaxed, informed and well taken care of during our entire visit.
Please convey our thanks to your entire crew. Even though we only bought a small travel trailer, we felt as important to them as if we were buying one of your "land yachts". It is people like them that make your dealership a true pleasure to deal with, and you can be certain that we will recommend your establishment to everyone.
Best Regards,
Bruce and Ramsey M. (2011 r-Pod Trailer)

"I just want you to know how much I appreciate the service that has been provided to us by HRVC (Howard RV Center). Our most recent experience is a good example. The first week of February we brought our RV home in preparation for a trip south for a couple of months. While working on our motor home, I found that the slide-outs were not working properly. I called Bill Mirrieless (Service Manager) and asked if he could get me in on short order to check out the problem, He had me bring it over that day (Wednesday). The next morning he called to tell me that the drive motor for the HWH hydraulic system was burned out. He called HWH to order the required motor assembly and was told that they were snowed in and only half their workforce was able to get in. As we had planned to leave on our trip the following Monday, Bill pleaded with them to expedite shipment. The motor assembly arrived on Monday, Bill got the assembly installed and called us that afternoon to pick up our RV. We were finally able to take off on Wednesday. Needless to say, we were ecstatic as we had 6 weeks of reservations made at various parks in Florida and Alabama.
Although your business is not selling (new) motor homes any more, you still give top-notch service to those of us who purchased from you. I recommend you to anyone I meet who is interested in a good service organization.
Thanks again to you and your excellent staff.
Best regards," (March-2011)

My wife and I brought our 2005 Fleetwood Discovery to you facilities on Friday, June 1, for refrigerator repairs. Two new cooling units were installed as well as a new control board. Although the repairs took much longer than anyone could have anticipated, we were extremely satisfied as a result of all stops being pulled and being completely kept in the loop as to problem causes and planned resolutions. Bill and Terry are tremendous assets to your organization. Danny was very thorough in making sure that correct parts were ordered and that they would arrive on time. The fact that we were able to stay on your lot while the troubleshooting and repairs were accomplished was a huge benefit to us. It is probably not often that a customer can have their trip interrupted for nearly two weeks and come away as satisfied as we were.
We are members of the Escapees RV Club and wrote review to be included in their listing of "Good Guys", service organizations that have exceeded expectations.

John,
I just wanted to thank all of you again for giving us the extra time come down a take delivery our Cyclone. You were tied up when we were leaving and didn't get to talk with you. My wife and I talked on our 10 hour drive back to WV and wanted to share with you a little of our conversation.
To start, Bill M. and Susan will very nice to work with and both were really helpful. Bill is by far the best sales manager that I have personally dealt with in my 24 years of buying autos, camper, etc. He must be really passionate about his job to be away from his family and stick with your company through these tough times. Susan is a very down to earth person and has been in contact with us from the start and even followed up with us after we got home.
A can't forget about Terry. My wife was really taken by how nice and personable he was when showing us around the camper. Terry gave us insight on how to maintain many of the options on the Cyclone. I don't think other camper dealers would have bothered to share these things with their customers. Although it bothered me at first, letting your employees borrow the inventory really saved us from having to deal with getting things repaired. Actually using it is the only true way find out if everything work properly. It will definitely save us money and aggravation down the road. I left feeling we bought a truly tested pre-owned unit by a very knowledgeable professional.
Danny in parts also was very friendly and helpful. Your parts store prices are very reasonable and the store credit was a good reason to buy some of things you don't see in regular stores. I have not seen the type of weight distribution system that Danny has displayed in your Store. I can't find up north, I will come and get one from you when we vacation at Myrtle this summer. We are planning a trip to see the (Battleship) USS NC in Wilmington and will stop by and see everyone.
My wife and I were impressed and really felt welcomed from the start. From the great referral on where to stay when we arrived down to the speedy closing and hookup of our new camper. Your RV business is clean, organized and very customer friendly.
We spent Saturday and Sunday cleaning the inside and outside to satisfy my compulsive cleaning addiction. We moved all of our camping crap into the Cyclone and just sat and looked at it in disbelief. We have wanted this exact unit for 4 years and now it is a reality. I couldn't have asked for a better deal on our dream camper or have bought it from a nicer dealer.
Thanks again John.
