Howard RV Center has been serving the Carolinas and the Mid-Atlantic region since 1979, providing a complete offering of New & Pre-owned Recreation Vehicles.

John and Ann Howard started their New RV Business Venture in 1971, with 3 little folding campers on a corner lot in Rochester-NY. Soon after, they opened their dealership in Spencerport NY. They named the new company CAMPCO and operated through many cold New York winters. In 1979 John & Ann decided to relocated the business south, to Ann's hometown of Wilmington-NC. The business grew from there and was passed to their children, Robin Howard Grover and John Howard Jr., in 1996, when John & Ann retired. Our founders, John & Ann have passed (John in 2018 and Ann in 2013). However, we still operate under their guiding principals of treating our customers and staff with fairness, respect, and honesty.

Howard RV Center is the largest RV dealership in SE North Carolina. We have a great service center that can service any type of RV, even the large high-end Luxury bus style RVs. We have a well stocked RV parts & accessories store.

Our RV Sales department concentrates on smaller luxury RVs, including; Class B type, Class B+ style, and Class C type motor homes, along with light-weight trailers, spacious multi slide-out travel trailers, and a selection of hand picked pre-owned RVs. Howard RV Center is very fortunate to be the exclusive dealer in the Carolinas and Virginia for Leisure Travel Vans. These extremely high quality compact motor homes are built in Canada and have a great following among RV enthusiasts.  Howard RV Center is also the exclusive dealer in the Carolinas for Pleasure-way class B RV/Vans.  These ultra high quality camper vans are also built in Canada.
